Dominique

The Dominique is a unique apple variety with a bicolored red-green skin and firm texture. This late-ripening variety is harvested in the second half of October and offers a well-balanced sweet and sour flavor that reaches its full potential after a period of storage. Thanks to its long shelf life and waxy skin after storage, the Dominique has an authentic and distinctive character.

In addition to its flavor, the Dominique is resistant to mildew, fire blight, and scab, and delivers consistent quality and high productivity. First harvested in 2016, this apple – named after the daughter of director Adrie van Kessel – is primarily available at our farm shop and is a promising addition to our assortment.
