The harvest season is in full swing at Almakúti! This sunny apple year has resulted in a top-quality crop of Royal Gala apples.
The Gala apples are well-sized, beautifully colored, and boast excellent sugar levels. The first containers are now being shipped to destinations including Egypt, Libya, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Dubai.
From mid-September, the harvest of Golden Delicious will begin. These apples will also be exported to the above-mentioned markets, with the larger sizes packed in bushel boxes for shipment to Israel.
Additionally, the harvest of Red Delicious apples is starting—this variety is highly popular in the Middle East. The larger-sized Red Delicious apples also find strong demand within Hungary.
